The enjoyment of perspective

This beautiful perspective of the staircase in the InterContintental Carlton hotel in Cannes is a nice reminder of how we hold our perspectives.
Based on our life experiences and social influences our perspectives are shaped. Our values and beliefs define how we hold our perspective.
However, we tend to cement our perspectives as truth. Unmoving, unwavering truth.
Yet most of what we see is only a fraction of its truth. Our version of what is.
The story we tell ourselves that is most convenient or easy to understand.
And the more we believe this story, the less perspective we have.
